About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Penetration Tester for a contract or a full time role to join our red testing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security assessments and penetration tests on a variety of infrastructure, networks, and web applications.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct penetration tests on the organization's infrastructure, networks, systems, and web applications.
• Utilize both manual and automated testing techniques to identify and exploit vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with the typically client-side cybersecurity blue team to implement effective security measures.
• Produce detailed reports documenting findings, impacts, and recommendations.
• Stay updated with the latest security threats, attack vectors, and testing methodologies.
• Assist in improving penetration testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Conduct security training sessions to raise awareness and educate staff.
• Provide guidance on infrastructure and web application security best practices.
• Contribute to incident response team to respond to and mitigate security incidents.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong experience in infrastructure and web application penetration testing.
• Proficiency in using penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite,, Bloodhound, Impacket, etc).
• Solid understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security technologies.
• Strong Knowledge of Cloud (e.g Azure, AWS, GCP) and their security controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, CEH, OSWE are desirable.
• Commitment to maintaining data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
